Questions are being asked of a foundation set up by Kevin Spacey to work with young people in the light of multiple allegations of sexual misconduct against the award-winning actor.
Britain’s Charities Commission said Friday that it was seeking assurances from the Kevin Spacey Foundation, which operates in both the U.K. and the U.S., that it adheres to policies for keeping young people safe. The commission has also asked for more information from The Old Vic Trust, an outreach organization of London’s Old Vic theater, where Spacey was artistic director from 2004 to 2015.
The Kevin Spacey Foundation works with young people in film, theater and dance, offering scholarships and awards, mentorships and educational programs for emerging talent. Netflix is officially severing ties with Kevin Spacey amid mounting allegations of sexual harassment made against the House of Cardsseries star and executive producer.
Additionally, the streamer has scrapped a Gore Vidal biopic starring Spacey.

Kevin Spacey is facing new allegations of sexual misconduct, including one involving a 16-years-old boy.
In an article published Friday by BuzzFeed News, three more men accused the actor, 58, of being inappropriate.
PEOPLE has reached out to the actor’s lawyers for comment but has not received a response.

​The latest man, who chose to remain anonymous, told Vulture he had a "consensual" sexual relationship with Spacey that began when he was 14 and the "House of Cards" star was 24. The man said the relationship ended, however, a year later after Spacey attempted to rape him.
The man, who called Spacey a pedophile and a narcissist in the interview, said that he first met Spacey during acting classes when he was 12, but the relationship didn't begin until they reconnected at Shakespeare in the Park two years later. He claimed that Spacey gave him his number and invited him to his apartment.
