Akademiks has a lot to learn and one lesson he is failing at miserably is knowing the difference between being a groupie and respecting the musical talents of the artist he enjoys. In today's Hip Hop culture, groupies don't only come in the female form, but male as well. Many commentators, and so called culture critics are waiting for the day, the emcee or pop star they have plastered on their wall will acknowledge them. Hack, not only acknowledge them, but become the best of friends or at the vest least get under their skin enough to show some emotional connection as a foe. This is where we get Akademiks, who really wanted Diplomatic Immunity to be about him, when it reality it was about Joe Budden; further going on the bandwagon of groupism is when Ak appeared on Drake's live instagram. Where he proceeded to talk to fellow musical peer of Drake's, Logic but it didn't end in the way Akademiks thought it would. Drake was basically insinuating that Ak is a leech and he didn't care for him popping up on his live instagram while he makes his duck faces into the cam and celebrates his mother's birthday. All in all, Akademiks feelings were hurt, and I actually felt slightly bad for the Blowfish, until I remembered he tried to son Domis Live who is a Hip Hop podcastor who appreciated Akademiks grind/work. Who admired Akademiks in a similar fashion. To wrap up my diatribe, all I am saying it don't have anyone's foot on your neck because they will apply pressure eventually.
